My husband hipped me to your music. He asked me to take a listen to Love Behind the Melody and I was cleaning at the time, but when I sat down and listened boy all I have to say is wonderful. I listen to this CD almost every day in my car. We are renewing our vows in May and have choosen your song "Empty" to be the song we have our first dance to. This CD (Love Behind the Melody) is like the soundtrack to our lives. Heck even my children sing along or request a repeat of their favorite song. I am getting the new album and I or better yet we (my family) is one of your biggest supporters. Keep the great music coming.

Not really a question, but your new cd "Love & War," has the song "Nobody Wins A War." This song should be made into being a music video. All of the artist should be in the video. When ever one of the artist is singing, they should be walking through a war scene with army gear on while war is going on around them. Such as, you walking through Vietnam with army gear on and war going on around you. And at the end of the video when Jill Scott is talking, she should be standing in front of the White House looking towards the White House. As she is talking, you and the other artist should come walking in behind her standing there tired and firm and then have multitudes of people come in and standing behind you all.

This is a time for humanity to come together.

Comparing you to Mr. Marvin Gaye.....in my opinion... that's the GREATEST!

When I got a copy of the cd from my boy in Cali as a gift, as soon as it dropped in fact, I thought he was playing a joke on me because embedded in the cd were my words. My poetry. In fact some songs entirely. How did it get on your cd? You should hit me up Raheem. I want to talk to you. You can call me the "rewolbeltsihw". At first I was angry. Then honored. Then angry again... I started to grab my tapes and cds and I didn't need any convincing that the CD was hot...it was mine! I just want to talk...You should definitely hit me up.

Hands Down Raheem, you are one of the best, if not the best artist of this generation!!! I say that with full confidence because it takes more that just good vocals and a hot track to make you worthy enough to be called an artist or a musician.... and you have amazing vocals, hot tracks, beautiful lyrics that say something, not just your typical bump n' grind in the club shoot em up cuz I'm gangsta music.... not to mention pure unadulterated God given gift!!! I am only 25... but I guess I have an old soul.... your music reminds me of 60's era soul music... Marvin Gaye and revolutionary time period.... you just don't get voices like Marvin Gaye, Donny Hathaway, Stevie Wonder, Luther Vandross anymore and you belong right in that category..... you are timeless and will have longevity.... you also has the courage, heart and passion to step out on your own...away from JIVE to do what you do independently...... this not only says that he doesn't go for the okey doke... but it says that he believes in himself enough to do so....
